Enjoy the clean air and the untouched nature and walk or cycle your way around the island. There are lots of marked paths and routes suitable for all levels of fitness. You can rent bikes from most of the travel agents and some hotels on the island, at a reasonable cost.
As July and August are very hot months on Korcula, walking and cycling is best enjoyed in the Spring/Autumn months and the beginning and end of summer.
A popular and fun cycling route from Korcula Town is to Lumbarda. Our self guided cycling tour to Lumbarda provides you a helpful map and lots of tips & information.

Although not all bus routes are that frequent, it is still a good way to navigate around Korcula Island. The bus station in the town of Korcula can provide you with information or you can check timetables on the Arriva website.
Buses travel between Korcula and Lumbarda; Korcula and Racisce and from Korcula to Vela Luka, calling at Zrnovo, Pupnat, Cara, Smokvica and Blato. You can buy tickets on the bus or at bus stations in Korcula or Blato.
There a number of taxis on the island, which are handy when you want to go somewhere more off the beaten track or when there is a group of you travelling; however they are not the cheapest form of transport.
We can help book you a taxi or provide transport should you need to get to a location not so easily reached, just send us a transfer request with the details. We can also organise island tours with drivers allowing you to explore Korcula with a local driver.
Not the cheapest option but should you want to spend a day sight-seeing the whole island or perhaps take a trip over to Lastovo, hiring a car or scooter is a great option. You can hire cars and scooters from a number of local travel agencies on Korcula.
